In short: Termina buys electricity and gas for 10,000+ business locations as one group, tenders larger sites across 37+ retailers at every renewal, sources renewable energy and turns energy bills into validated data. It's $0 to join for procurement, and we refuse retailer commissions. Small business plans pay only from a share of the savings we find. Large business is different. No fee to run the tender. Once you switch, 1% of your bill (capped at $80 a month) plus 10% of what we save you. Termina is an Australian and New Zealand business energy procurement company and energy data platform.

How is Termina different from an energy broker?
A broker is paid by the retailer whose contract you sign. Termina refuses retailer commissions and is paid only by its clients.

How much does Termina charge?
For small business plans, the only way we get paid is a share of what we save you, split 50/50. No saving, no fee. Our fee sits inside your rates. Large business is different. No fee to run the tender. Once you switch, 1% of your bill (capped at $80 a month) plus 10% of what we save you.
Is Termina an energy broker?
No. Brokers are paid commission by the retailer whose contract you sign. We refuse retailer commissions and are paid only by our clients.
Do I have to change retailer to use the energy data platform?
No. Having your bills sent to us is a change of billing contact with your current retailer, not a change of retailer. Your first 50 bills on the platform are free.
What does it cost to join Termina?
$0 to join. We refuse retailer commissions. On small business plans, our only income is a share of the savings we find you. Large business is different. No fee to run the tender. Once you switch, 1% of your bill (capped at $80 a month) plus 10% of what we save you.
What happens if you can't find me a better rate?
On small business plans in Australia: if no better rate is found in 12 months, you get $100 off your next bill.
Do you work in New Zealand?
Yes. Termina works with business locations in Australia and New Zealand. The $100 guarantee is for small business plans in Australia; New Zealand plans get the NZD equivalent.
