Solar and battery monitoring, measured in dollars
Termina connects your solar and battery data to the pricing on your bills, with no hardware and your first 50 bills free.
How do you monitor solar and batteries across multiple sites?
In short: Termina connects your solar and battery data to the pricing on your bills, so you see what each system earns and saves in dollars, not just kWh, with no hardware. It is built for multi-site groups with solar. Free to start with your first 50 bills, or $0 when we run your procurement. Talk to us about more options.
In one place, against what you pay. Consolidate your solar and consumption data so system performance shows up in dollars, and you can see when a system is not working as it should.
Termina is an Australian and New Zealand business energy procurement company and energy data platform. Its platform connects production and consumption to the pricing on each site's bill, so the saving is measured against your real tariff.

What should solar and battery monitoring show you?
What the system is worth, not just what it produced.
Performance in dollars
Report system performance in dollars, not just kWh, using the pricing on your bills.
Spend and saving together
Connect pricing to production and consumption to understand what you spend and what you save.
Systems that are underperforming
See when a solar system is not working as it should, so you can act before it costs you more.
kWh monitoring or dollar monitoring: what is the difference?
A kWh figure tells you what the panels produced. A dollar figure tells you what that was worth on your tariff.
| kWh-only monitoring | Termina | |
|---|---|---|
| What you see | Production in kWh | Performance in dollars, against your pricing |
| Billing data | Separate, somewhere else | In the same platform as the system data |
| Underperformance | Spotted if someone looks | Visible across every site |
| Hardware needed | Often | None |
Reporting the emissions too? See Scope 1 and 2 data for AASB S2.
Does an energy management platform need hardware at my sites?
Not this one. Termina runs on what your retailers already produce: you upload once, authorise us once, and every bill after that arrives by itself. The first automatic bill takes 30 to 45 days.
Upload once
Upload a bill, or a year of them, as the PDF from your retailer. No template and no reformatting, and you see your data the same day.
Authorise once
Sign one authority and we update the billing contact with each of your retailers, so every bill after that comes straight to Termina.
Bills arrive by themselves
Retailers usually confirm within about a week. The first automatic bill lands on your next billing cycle, 30 to 45 days after you authorise us.
Checked, then exported
Every bill is re-added against its own total, tested against your contract where we hold it, and flagged where it needs review. Then export it, or report from it.
Nothing about your supply changes. A new billing contact is not a new retailer. See how the free tier works.
Is there a free energy bill platform?
Yes. Free to start with your first 50 bills, or $0 when we run your procurement. Talk to us about more options.
Free when we run your procurement
$0 for the platform when Termina runs your procurement. Every site, bill and fuel in one place, bills validated, and data that stays yours.
Free to start
Your first 50 bills are free. That is roughly a year of monthly bills across four sites, enough to test the data on your own portfolio before you commit anything to it.
More options: talk to us
Want the platform without procurement, or more than your first 50 bills? Talk to us about the options. Nothing is charged without you agreeing to it first.
The full breakdown is on our pricing page.

What do teams ask about solar and battery monitoring?
Do I need extra hardware to monitor solar and batteries?
No. Termina connects the data you already have to your energy pricing, so there is nothing to install.
Why measure solar in dollars instead of kWh?
Because the value of a kWh depends on your tariff. Measuring against the pricing on your bills shows what each system actually saves you.
How does on-site solar affect my Scope 2 emissions?
Solar you use on site cuts what you import from the grid, so it cuts your Scope 2: you report net grid consumption times the relevant factor. Exported solar is not counted in your Scope 2.
Do I have to upload every bill?
No. Upload your first bills if you want to see the data today. Once you authorise us, we update the billing contact with each of your retailers, so every bill after that comes straight to Termina. The first automatic bill takes 30 to 45 days, because it lands on your retailer's next billing cycle.
How much does the Termina platform cost?
Free to start with your first 50 bills, or $0 when we run your procurement. Talk to us about more options. Nothing is charged without you agreeing to it first. The details are on our pricing page.
See whether your data comes back clean
Upload a handful of bills and look at what comes out. Your first 50 bills on the platform are free, and the platform is free when we run your procurement.
