In short: We keep every site’s electricity and gas on the lowest energy rate we can find, hold every contract date and put every bill in one place, so energy stops being a line nobody can forecast. It’s $0 to join, we’re paid only from a share of the savings we find, and 10,000+ business locations already buy their energy this way.
Energy procurement for finance teams
We keep every site’s electricity and gas on the lowest energy rate we can find, and every contract date and bill in one place.
Why is energy hard to budget?
Energy is spread across many bills, retailers and contracts, and the number moves when nobody is looking.
Contracts roll over quietly
When a contract ends, the site rolls onto whatever rate the retailer sets next. Unless someone is tracking every end date, the first sign is a bigger bill.
The spend sits with many retailers
A business with several sites often has several retailers, each with its own bill format and billing cycle. Pulling one number for the whole business takes time.
The rate is only part of the bill
Network, demand and market charges sit alongside the energy rate and change on their own schedule. Comparing two offers on the headline rate alone can point the wrong way.

How does energy procurement work for a finance team?
Send us the bills
Send a recent electricity and gas bill for each site. We set up every site, retailer and contract in one view.
We review every site against the whole market
Each site is benchmarked on its own tariff, distribution network and usage, then priced as part of a buying group of 10,000+ business locations. Large-market sites go to tender at renewal.
You approve before anything changes
You see the saving for each site and the rate it will pay, already after our share. Nothing switches until you approve it.
We hold every contract date
We manage the switch with the retailer, then keep reviewing prices and hold every renewal date, so no site rolls onto a default rate.
What does finance get, and what does every site get?
For the finance team
Every bill in one place. The platform keeps every site’s bills, usage and spend in one view, across retailers. First 50 bills free, and free when we run your procurement.
Every contract date held. We track when each contract ends and act before a site rolls onto a default rate.
Rates already after our share. Every rate we quote is already after our share, so the rate you approve is the rate on the bill.
For every site
$0 to join. We refuse retailer commissions. Our only income is a share of the savings we find.
Kept on the lowest rate. We review your prices every month, and if there’s anything cheaper we switch you. On small business plans in New Zealand: if no better rate is found in 12 months, you get $100 off your next bill, credited in NZD.
No calls to the retailer. We handle the switch and the paperwork with the retailer, so energy stays off everyone’s list.
Run several sites? Book a portfolio review and we’ll look at every site at once.

What else do people ask about energy for finance teams?
What does it cost?
$0 to join. We refuse retailer commissions, and our only income is a share of the savings we find. Every rate we quote is already after our share, so the number you see is the number you get.
Can you help us forecast energy spend?
The platform keeps each site’s usage and spend history in one view, which is where a forecast starts. Contract end dates sit alongside it, so you can see when each rate is due to change.
Is a large site priced differently?
Yes. A site on time-of-use metering is priced through a tender rather than off a published plan. In New Zealand the line is set by metering, not by state: sites on time-of-use (half-hourly) metering are priced through a tender, and non-half-hourly sites are reviewed every month.
Our sites sit under different companies. Can you tender them together?
Sites owned by one legal entity go to market together as one portfolio. Sites held by separate companies each get their own pricing round and sign their own agreement, and every one of them buys with the leverage of 10,000+ business locations behind it.
Will switching interrupt supply?
No. A switch changes who bills you, not the connection. Nothing changes physically at the site and there’s no interruption to supply.
What if you can’t find a saving for a site?
Then that site pays nothing, and it stays in the review cycle for when the market moves. On small business plans in New Zealand: if no better rate is found in 12 months, you get $100 off your next bill, credited in NZD.
Can we see every site’s energy in one place?
Yes. The platform keeps every bill, site and contract in one place, across retailers. The first 50 bills are free, and it’s free when we run your procurement.
