In short: Termina reviews the rates charged by shopping centres and other embedded network operators, so you know whether yours are competitive with the rest of the market. It’s $0 to join, we refuse retailer commissions, and our only income is a share of the savings we find for the 10,000+ business locations buying through us.
Check embedded network energy rates against the market
Termina reviews the rates charged by shopping centres and other embedded network operators against the rest of the market.
Are you paying too much on an embedded network?
Tenants in shopping centres often buy energy from the centre’s embedded network. We compare those rates with the best market prices so you know where you stand.
- Embedded network rates reviewed
- Compared with the best market prices
- Shopping centre sites covered
How does it work?

What do people ask before they start?
How much does Termina charge?
$0 to join. On small business plans, the only way we get paid is a share of what we save you, split 50/50. No saving, no fee. Our fee sits inside your rates. For large-market sites: No fee to run the tender. Once you switch, 1% of your bill (capped at $80 a month) plus 10% of what we save you.
I already use a broker. Can I still switch?
Yes. We check each site’s contract end date and any exit fees before we recommend a move, so you know what leaving costs before you decide.
My energy contracts are still running. Is it worth joining now?
Yes. We record each site’s contract end date, so nothing rolls onto a higher rate when a contract ends.
What if you can’t find a saving?
On small business plans, you pay nothing, and your sites stay in the review cycle for when the market moves. In New Zealand: if no better rate is found in 12 months, you get $100 off your next bill, in NZD.
Will my supply change when I switch retailer?
No. The energy, the meter and the network stay the same, and there is no break in supply. The retailer name on the bill is what changes.
