Three things to check before you sign any offer

“30% discount”, off what?
Most discounts apply to a variable base rate the retailer can change at any time. The discount stays fixed. The rate underneath it does not.

Does the discount have conditions?
Pay on time or it vanishes. Benefit periods expire and the rate snaps back. Check what the discount depends on before you count it.

What happens after you sign?
A one-off quote ends the day you sign. We review your prices every month, and if there's anything cheaper we switch you, backed by our savings guarantee.
Already have an offer? Send it through. We'll run it against the same usage, count every fee on both sides, and tell you plainly which one costs less. If theirs wins, join us anyway and we'll put you on that rate. It becomes your benchmark, our job is to beat it, and we only earn a share when we do. Our savings guarantee applies either way.
What we compare, line by line
A comparison is only as good as what it looks at. Most stop at the usage rate. A business bill has four moving parts, and a cheaper usage rate can still leave you paying more.
Usage rates, across every band
Peak, shoulder and off peak, measured against what you actually consume in each band rather than an assumed profile. If your bill is flat rate and the offer is time of use, we allocate your usage across the bands before comparing, so the number holds up.
The daily supply charge
A fixed amount you pay every day whether you use any energy or not. Across a year it is real money before a single kilowatt hour, it varies by network, and it is the part most comparisons leave out entirely.
Demand charges
On a demand tariff, your single highest half hour in the month sets a charge you then pay every month. Two offers with identical usage rates can be thousands apart once demand is counted.
Metering and market charges
Metering, market operator fees and any retailer service charges. Small on their own, and collectively where a tempting headline rate quietly gets made back.
