Business energy procurement

Energy procurement across every site, none of the admin

Stop tendering site by site. We bring every site into one buying group of 10,000+ business locations, run the tender, then keep every site on the lowest rate every month.

What we do

What we do in a procurement

Line up every contract

Retailers, tariffs and renewal dates for every site, in one place, so nothing rolls over unnoticed.

Run the tender

Your sites go to market through a buying group of 10,000+ business locations. The more load in front of retailers, the harder they sharpen the price. Each legal entity gets its own pricing round.

Read the offers properly

We count every fee on both sides and show you plainly which offer costs less.

Keep checking

We review every site’s rates every month and move a site when a lower rate appears.

Follow the money

Who pays your energy adviser?

Before you appoint anyone to buy energy on your behalf, ask one question: who signs their cheque?

Brokers and consultants paid by retailers

Most energy brokers are paid a commission by the retailer they place you with, often priced into your rates for the life of the contract. Their income grows when your bill does.

Termina is paid only from your savings

We refuse retailer commissions. Our only income is a share of the savings we actually find you, so we make money when your bill goes down, not up.

A commission-paid adviser cannot say that. Not won’t. Can’t.

What it costs

What it costs, in numbers

No fee to run the tender.

Small business

50/50

Save $10,000 a year and you keep $5,000. Our $5,000 sits inside your rates. Save nothing and you pay nothing.

Large business

1% + 10%

Once you switch, 1% of your bill (capped at $80 a month) plus 10% of what we save you.

Questions

Commercial energy procurement, answered

What does an energy procurement service actually do?

It buys energy on your behalf: benchmarking your current rates, taking your sites to the market, negotiating with retailers, and managing the switch. Ours also keeps working after you sign, reviewing your prices every month and switching you when there’s something cheaper.

What does it cost?

No fee to run the tender. For small business sites we split the saving 50/50, so no saving means no fee. For large business sites, once you switch, it’s 1% of your bill (capped at $80 a month) plus 10% of what we save you. Every rate we quote already includes our share.

Will I be dealing with a new retailer every few months?

No. You approve the model once and we handle any switching from there. Nothing changes physically at your sites and there’s no interruption to supply. Most clients notice nothing except the bill.

I already use an energy broker. Isn’t this the same thing?

The mechanics look similar; the money is opposite. Most brokers are paid commissions by retailers, so their income rises with your rates. We refuse retailer commissions and are paid only from savings we find you.

Can you handle sites in different states, or with different retailers?

Yes. Mixed states, meters, fuels and retailers are normal for multi-location portfolios. Each legal entity gets its own pricing round and signs its own agreement.

What if you can’t find savings?

Then you pay nothing, and your sites stay in the monthly review cycle for when the market moves. On small business plans in Australia: if no better rate is found in 12 months, you get $100 off your next bill.
